You know how they say that once you stop believing in coincidence, your life starts making so much sense? Well, something stalked the heck out of me on my social medias until I gave in and the results have been beautiful.
Look who’s back from a short blogging break!
This past week was definitely a bit of a drag for me but that’s the beauty of life, right? Challenges. Times like these often force me to find the good and I did!
When I was growing up and my friends and I would find ourselves experiencing something a little strange, they were all quick to say “it’s a sign” and I took on that little phrase without a clue about what that actually meant.
I’ll honestly admit to this past week being one of the hardest of the year thus far for me. It was emotionally demanding and draining but a lot of the personal things (which I wish I could share with you) that came to light at the end of it all just made me fall a little bit more in love with the person I was created to be.
Another week, another list of things to be grateful for!
Dear past and current Lydia,
In light of it still being the month of love, I’ve been inspired to write a letter from the future to both my past and present selves. Most times, we live a life of stress and panic; we’re afraid of taking leaps of faith for our passions or the people we love out of fear of failure or even the fear of beginning, because of the unknown. You’re a perfectionist and always want to come out on top with a bit of praise and, while that’s okay, facing your fears is the first step.
The end of another week! This whole segment of my blog is honestly teaching me to appreciate each day. Slowly but surely, I’m coming to love each day for what it brings instead of having a countdown to the end of the week.
One of my recent blog posts had to do with how thoughts become things. A lot of people don’t realise the power of words so I thought to speak about affirmations as one of the other ways in which you can quickly manifest whatever you want (while also making use of methods such as visualisation and gratitude).
I’ve made it through another week and I’m here, once again, to inspire you to see the good and beautiful in the upcoming week.
